We don’t have any large projects on the list for 2025 which means I can focus all of my time, energy, and money on the fun stuff! Don’t worry, there are still plenty of bigger renovations I hope to accomplish, we’re just taking a break.

  • Drapes/Roman Shades for Dining Room & Sitting Area. This is in process. The fabric was back ordered and then I changed my mind regarding the style of shades so we had to re-measure the windows.

  • Rug for Sitting Area. I’m working with Two Sisters Rugs (I bought our kitchen runner from her) to source a rug for our sitting area. It’s an odd size which makes it a bit difficult.

  • Chair for Nook. I’d like to replace this chair with this one in a custom fabric. I think I’m leaning towards Jasper Grace.

  • Radiator Cover in Living Room

  • Radiator Cover in Dining Room

  • Frame Tapestry. I bought this tapestry reproduction from one of my favorite artists last fall and just dropped it off to be framed. It’s going on the landing that’s mid-way up our staircase.

  • Art for above dresser in our bedroom. I finally ordered a dresser (our first dresser ever – 10 years married) and it’s due to be delivered in February. I would love an abstract piece of art to go above it (I think it’d be a nice contrast to our floral drapes).

  • Re-frame prints in Nook. I originally purchased the prints (a set of 3) to go above our couch. But, they were too small for the space. I ended up hanging two of them in the nook and am very attached to them living in that space now. I would like to re-frame them with an oversized mat (or double mat them?) so they fill a bit more of the wall space. I also want to swap the glass for museum glass. The windows in the space cause so much glare on the current glass it’s a bit hard to see the artwork at times.

  • Art for above the couch. I think I’d like one large abstract piece of art. We have lots of smaller pieces of art – all floral and landscapes – so I’d like to mix up the size and style.

  • Art for wall in sitting area. Again, I need a large abstract piece of art. We both love landscapes and florals and so I tend to buy those because they come more easily for me. I love abstracts, just find them harder to source…hence the need for so many abstracts.

  • Art for primary bathroom. I want a small landscape for the toilet room and then I hope to do a gallery wall on the wall across from our tub.

  • Art for hall bath. This is the bathroom with this wallpaper. Part of me thinks I should mix it up and add an abstract piece. The other part of me thinks a landscape would be fun. Needs to have glass in case water escapes the shower.

  • Paint our bedroom. I *think* I’ve landed on Farrow & Ball Light Blue

  • Paint guest bedroom / Put down rug. I scored a rug on Facebook Marketplace last Summer and have yet to put it down. I want to do that and paint the room – I think I’ve decided on Farrow & Ball Pigeon.
